Original Fake / KAWS

kaws1.jpg

Original Fake is a shop / brand collaboration between graffiti artist legend Kaws and Medicom Toy in which his double-x eyed character art is the main theme. Their site doesn’t seem to feature most of the products, so head over to Commonwealth to get a decent overview of what you can get your scrawny designer ass into. Provided you can cough up the dough that is… $65 t-shirts? Remind me to become a legend.

Check out Kaws’ blog too for interesting stuff from his life and studio.

To Die For

To Die For

To Die For was started by Jason Welsher at the mere age of 19 in his parents’ garage, and since then his business has prospered become one of the most consistently quality labels out there. Wearing their shirts feels really good, some say it’s even better than having a polar bear cub wrapped around you. Then again, some people are crazy. Not only are their shirts quality, they always employ artists from the tattoo and low-brow art circles like Crayola, Adam Hathorn and Tim Hendricks.
